This lesson combines our passion for teaching personalised and individual ski experiences with our determination to look after the environment that brings us so much joy. Passing on knowledge of the local environment and actions we can take to preserve its beauty in this fast-changing world.
Along the way, we hope to facilitate an open discussion on ways to look at the impact we are having and discover ways to reduce our individual and collective carbon footprints from the small actions we can take to the mighty!
We are driven by providing you with the tools to get you around the mountain with confidence and style whilst also sharing our passion for sustainability. As individuals, we can make a difference but it's as a group that bigger changes can be made.All profits go to Montagne Verte an environmental non-profit in Morzine spearheading a low-carbon future in the mountains. This lesson is supported by Voqa, making EV charging effortless.
About Montagne Verte
In early 2019, Barbara De Moubray rallied together a small group of friends with a mission to engage the community of Morzine in reducing plastic consumption. In March 2019 Montagne Verte came to life, and work began organising community events and developing an online presence to raise awareness. At the same time Governments around the world were declaring climate and ecological emergencies and it became clear that Montagne Verte needed to go beyond plastic and beyond the parameters of Morzine.
