Intermediate ski camp

For skiers hitting the intermediate plateau. We want to pull apart your technique, build solid foundations and sprinkle on some awesomeness to make you versatile advanced skier.

The 5-day coaching courses run from Monday to Friday with at least 5 hours of coaching per day, plus video analysis sessions in the evening and socials! 

We introduce the building blocks to great skiing, compare your current use of them and work out a plan to improve them that's unique to you! Expect to ski on and off the piste in all conditions. 

These courses are perfect for those wanting to develop their skiing on a regular basis, at the end of the course you will have a documented action plan which all PEAK coaches have access to. This means you can continue your development with any of our coaches anytime. 

Pre-requisite: 
Ski blue and red run's in parallel confidently and in control
Tried skiing bumps or off-piste
You can get up unaided if you fall
Able to ski non stop for 3 hours
You want to improve your technique and confidence


Unsure of your level:

If you're unsure this is the level for you, pick camp dates with another level camp running so we can move you between the camp levels as required. 


A typical week includes: 

  1. Building blocks of skiing - Where all great skiers start, we call these the building blocks. We always visit these on every course to "re-centre"
  2. Video Analysis - A group session highlighting the good bits and the work on bits analysed by you with the support of your coach. 
  3. Piste performance - Pushing the limits of your skis on the piste. Expect to nail carving on most runs! 
  4. Off-piste - Technique, tactics and safety. One of our favourite areas of skiing (when the conditions are right)
  5. Bumps - One of the most challenging areas of skiing, but so much fun. We'll show you the skills! 
  6. Steep terrain - How to safely ski terrain over 35 degrees, controlling your speed and line.
  7. Equipment workshop - Understanding the correct set-up for you, and how to prepare your equipment to give you the best performance. 

This is subject to change depending on weather and group ability.

What's included: 

  • On snow, coaching is at least 5 hours per day with a break for lunch and coffee
  • Video analysis normally on Day 1 and Day 4 - you can take the video files with you
  • Written action plan from your coach
  • Up to 6 per group, this allows the perfect mix of social skiing and adequate time for one 2 one when you need it
  • Coaching delivered by BASI Level 4 Diploma holders and overseen by BASI trainers'

Course venues:
Our November and early December camps run in Cervinia, Italy 
After 15th December the course venue switches to Morzine-Avoriaz, France

  • Milan Malpensa is 190 km, 2hrs 25 minutes by car

Geneva Airport is 60km, 1hr 15 minutes by car

Perfect for Autumn skiing, Cervinia lies in a high-altitude basin in the lap of Monte Cervino (the Matterhorn) and Piccolo Cervino (Klein Matterhorn) It delivers on amazing pistes that are meticulously groomed and perfect for intermediate to advanced skiers. It also has easy access to Switzerland to ski close to the Klein Matterhorn and of course fantastic coffee.

    The Morzine-Avoriaz Ski area

    Morzine and Avoriaz are the central position to the Portes du Soleil. There is a huge mixture of slopes for all levels and our coaches know this area like the back of their hand. We also have great access to skiing bumps and controlled off-piste areas with runs into the Swiss ski area from Avoriaz. You will ski a mixture of the Morzine-Avoriaz area during the camp with the terrain being chosen to suit the group and camp goals.

     Resort altitude: 1,000m / 1,800m
    Highest lift: 2,254m
    Total pistes: 600km of alpine skiing
    197 ski lifts
    291 pistes

    Advanced ski camp

    For advanced skiers wanting to push themselves and technique to master more of the mountain.

    The 5-day coaching courses run from Monday to Friday with at least 5 hours of coaching per day, plus video analysis sessions in the evening and socials!

    You will be comfortable skiing most red runs but would like to improve your technique so that you can tackle changing snow conditions, steeper slopes, off-piste and bumps.

    These courses are perfect for those wanting to develop their skiing on a regular basis, at the end of the course you will have a documented action plan which all PEAK coaches have access to. This means you can continue your development with any of our coaches anytime. 

    Pre-requisite: 
    Ski Red and Black runs in parallel confidently and in control
    Ski non-stop for 3 hours at 2,000m+ altitude
    Ski a fall line descent in the bumps
    Link at least 5 turns together off-piste
    You can get up unaided if you fall

      Expert ski camp

      For advanced black run skiers wanting to master the whole mountain and become an expert skier.

      The 5-day coaching courses run from Monday to Friday with at least 5 hours of coaching per day, plus video analysis sessions in the evening and socials!

      You will be happy skiing on any coloured runs and you are looking to get performance out of your skis like carving long turns and grippy short turns on steep slopes. Learn how to master a varied fall line descent in bump's fields and explore off-piste skiing and ski touring.

      These courses are perfect for those wanting to develop their skiing on a regular basis, at the end of the course you will have a documented action plan which all PEAK coaches have access to. This means you can continue your development with any of our coaches anytime. 

      Pre-requisite: 
      Ski Black runs in parallel confidently and in control
      Ski non-stop for a half-day at 2,000+ m altitude
      Ski a type of fall line descent in the bumps
      Link at least 10 turns together off-piste
      Carry at least a 15kg backpack all-day
      Able to use avalanche safety kit


      Unsure of your level:

      If you're unsure this is the level for you, pick a camp with another Level running and we can move you between the group levels as required.
