This Beginner course is for children who have either never put skis on or have tried it once (in a snowdome or dry slope generally). We take them through the basics progressively and aim to have all the children making perfect snowplough turns down green or easy blue slopes by the end of the week.

This intermediate course is for children who can already ski blue runs in plough-parallel (this is when there might be a little snowplough shape to start the turn, but the skier is able to make the skis go parallel by the end of the turn). They are ready to improve their parallel turns and ski some red runs.

This black group course is for children who can ski red runs in control. They can make parallel turns and are ready to learn how to ski steeper slopes, make the skis carve, venture to the off-piste or tackle some moguls.

This level 3 course is for children who can ski easy blue runs. They can make snowplough turns and are ready to learn how to ski plough-parallel and tackle some steeper blue runs and maybe red runs towards the end of the week.

This mini beginner course is for children age between 4 and 5 years old and who have either never put skis on or maybe tried it once. We take them through the basics progressively and aim to have all the children making perfect snowplough turns down green or easy blue slopes by the end of the week. 

Ski club for local kids delivered by inspirational coaches who will guide your children through a whole repertoire of skiing. The programme runs on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings during the off-peak weeks. 

The club will inspire the children, build their confidence and teach them how to be safe in the mountains. Our education for the children is delivered through activities, exploration and games. 

The club progresses throughout the season but we have a number of key milestones: 

• Skiing Foundations - accurate posture, movement and balance
• Turning - exploring short turns, long turns, carve turns and more
• Speed - Controlling and accelerating 
• Navigation - how to navigate the piste and off piste
• Safety - how to help in an accident, rules of the mountains
• Avalanche training - snowpack analysis, transceiver training, procedures
• Ski area - Explore all corners of the PDS
• Freestyle - snowpark safety, half-pipe, boxes and jumps

Children must be able to ski on blue runs in control, turning with parallel skis to start the club

Children must be able to carry their own equipment
